Sin is like an egg that’s been broken in a saucer. And sin would be the yellow in the middle. I believe it’s called the yolk. And when you go to picking in that yolk, it scatters all over the egg. And that’s the way sin is. You just going to commercializing it, and—and fixing it up, and making it look pretty, and giving it another name, you scatter it through everywhere. That’s what sin has did in this great lovely nation of ours. It has been glamortized, or I mean glaminized. Sin has become glamour.

We must be sincere, because we’ve got the greatest thing in the world. The greatest treasure of Heaven is Christ among us. Why do we want a substitute of some little influence, to try to make ourselves somebody big among somebody here? Why not be a humble servant to Christ?

Whatever God says is perfect; He cannot improve it or take it back. It’s perfect, because God is perfect, and His Words are perfect. His promises can never fail. Now, you must have that kind of faith in God when you read the Bible to believe His promises. You must remember He’s perfect. His Words are perfect; they can never fail; they can never be improved; they are perfect to start with.

Joining church won’t do it. No, sir. That’s only perverting the real cause. If the devil can’t get you out on those things, he will take you to this other. But don’t settle for nothing less than an old fashion experience of the new birth to be born again of the Spirit of the eternal God, when your soul and God locks together and you become one.

You see, we want to hold on to everything that we can, and then follow Jesus. But sometime Jesus wants us to turn loose of everything, so we get both hands on Him.
