Remember, we are not on a picnic, but we’re in a battlefield. Many people just think that when they become a Christian that that’s all they need to do, that that settles it forever, as they are a Christian and everything’s going to come easy. Don’t never get that in your head. For I become a Christian to fight, fight the good fight of faith. I become a Christian to get in the battle lines

Usually, it takes a state of emergency, to throw us into desperation. See? It’s too bad it has to do that, but human beings are so slothful in their mind, that it takes an emergency. Something arises, and when they do, then it–it throws them into that desperation. And really, in doing that in desperation, it brings out that real thing that you are. It shows what you’re made out of, in the time of desperation. It usually pulls out all the good things that’s in you.

You have to come in contact with omnipotence. Then when you do that, you’re in contact with the supernatural. Your life change, your thinking’s change, your mind change, you’re made different. Your sickness is finished. God’s great power moves in.

I appreciate men that will follow the leading of Christ, regardless of the cost it costs them.

Satan doesn’t care how religious you are, or how right you are in your Doctrine. If you miss that Life, you won’t come up, anyhow. No matter how religious, how good, how many churches you’ve belonged to or will belong to, it doesn’t matter one thing unless you have been born again.

A Christian is to be Christ-like. And a Christian cannot be a Christian until Christ comes into the man, the Life of Christ in him. Then it produces the Life that Christ lived, and you do the things that Christ did. What am I talking about? Personal relationship to Christ. What is it? Is your life worthy of the Gospel?

The greatest weapon that I know of of a Christian today, is a committal to God. When you can’t do nothing about it, just commit it to Him, and God will take care of it.
